Wooden Beer Mug: Combining Techniques with an Incentive

I made myself a couple of beer mugs out of maple a few weeks ago. They are somewhat thick and heavy, but there is a viking-like feel to them that I really appreciate, due precisely to that weight. I also like the thermodynamics of the mugs. The beer stays cool for quite some time, if it lasts that long that is! Finished with three coats of food-safe epoxy. I have used one of them quite a number of times since, and it holds up to the task perfectly.
